Terms and Conditions – Physical Stores Only

Euro MRKT is committed to offering fair and competitive prices on a selection of French food products sold in-store.

If a customer finds a strictly identical product sold at a lower price by an eligible competitor, Euro MRKT will offer two (2) times the price difference in MERCI points, in accordance with these terms and conditions.

1. Scope

The Euro MRKT Price Guarantee applies exclusively to purchases made in physical Euro MRKT stores.

  • Online purchases are expressly excluded.

  • Since in-store and online prices are distinct, no comparison may be made with online prices, including those of Euro MRKT or its competitors.

2. Eligible Products

The Price Guarantee applies only to products meeting all the following conditions:

  • Strictly identical product, including:

    • Same brand

    • Same format (weight, volume, number of units)

    • Same recipe, reference, or product code

  • New product, sold at retail

  • Product in stock at Euro MRKT at the time of the request

  • Product unused, unaltered, and in its original packaging

Excluded products:

  • Clearance, end-of-line, or overstock items

  • Seasonal or limited-availability products

  • Products sold in bulk, promotional, or value packs

  • Products with damaged or altered packaging

3. Eligible Competitors

Price comparisons must be made with a competitor meeting the following criteria:

  • Physical store located in Quebec

  • Retailer selling food products

  • Product offered at regular in-store price

Explicitly excluded:

  • Online platforms and marketplaces

  • Peer-to-peer sales

  • Stores outside Quebec

  • Online prices, including Euro MRKT

  • Member-only, subscription, or loyalty card prices

4. Price to be Compared

The compared price must meet the following conditions:

  • Regular price only

  • Excluding promotions, temporary discounts, coupons, or conditional offers

  • Taxes excluded

  • Price displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD)

5. Required Proof

All requests must be accompanied by clear and verifiable proof, including:

  • Photo of the product at the competitor’s store

  • Price clearly visible

  • Name and address of the competitor

  • Date visible or proof that the price is current (maximum seven (7) days old)

Euro MRKT reserves the right to verify the accuracy, validity, and authenticity of any proof provided.

6. Compensation Terms

  • Compensation is granted exclusively in MERCI points

  • The amount awarded equals two (2) times the price difference

  • MERCI points:

    • Have no monetary value

    • Are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash

    • Are subject to the current MERCI loyalty program terms

  • MERCI points are credited to the customer’s account after validation of the request

7. Caps and Limits

To ensure fair use of the Price Guarantee:

  • Maximum amount: $20 in MERCI points per product

  • Limit: one (1) request per customer per 30-day period

  • Euro MRKT reserves the right to refuse any request deemed abusive, fraudulent, or non-compliant with these terms

8. Request Deadline

  • Requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of purchase

  • Valid proof of purchase issued by Euro MRKT is required

  • Product must be presented at the time of the request

9. Modifications, Suspension, and Termination

Euro MRKT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

  • Modify these terms at any time

  • Suspend or terminate the Price Guarantee, without notice, notably in cases of abuse, fraud, or exceptional circumstances

All changes take effect upon publication on the Euro MRKT website.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec.
Any dispute related to the Euro MRKT Price Guarantee is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
